The School provides different services to its members and organizes a range of activities:

- Continuous technical advice about legal regulations and bylaws that need to be taken into account when drafting projects
- Charging of professional fees when the interior designer/decorator is requested
- Civil liability insurance for all approved work
- Legal advisory service
- Advice on work-related and tax-related matters
- Documentation consisting of a collection of books, magazines and specialist publications available to members
- Employment exchange
- Monitoring of directives regarding the profession as laid down by the Governing Body of Official Schools of Interior Designers/Decorators
Activities
As for the functions of the School, the most important ones may be summarized as follows:
- Organization of Interior Design Awards by the School and in collaboration with other entities
- Organization of courses and technical conferences
- Permanent training of its members
- Participation in events, trade fairs, congresses and exhibitions about the profession and new technologies
