SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL

The School provides different services to its members and organizes a range of activities:

• Continuous technical advice about legal regulations and bylaws that need to be taken into account when drafting projects
• Charging of professional fees when the interior designer/decorator is requested
• Civil liability insurance for all approved work
• Legal advisory service
• Advice on work-related and tax-related matters
• Documentation consisting of a collection of books, magazines and specialist publications available to members
• Employment exchange
• Monitoring of directives regarding the profession as laid down by the Governing Body of Official Schools of Interior Designers/Decorators

Activities

As for the functions of the School, the most important ones may be summarized as follows:

• Organization of Interior Design Awards by the School and in collaboration with other entities
• Organization of courses and technical conferences
• Permanent training of its members
• Participation in events, trade fairs, congresses and exhibitions about the profession and new technologies
